Tonight!

This Monday night was the first Young Life club of the year! I loved it, it was probably one of my favorite clubs ever. I feel like my whole perspective has changed even since the last club, I guess I've changed a lot over the summer. Last year I wanted all of my friends to come to club, but they didn't want to go because they saw the people that went and didn't feel like those were the people who should be at a Christian event, and I felt the same way. I used to wish that those people wouldn't come to club because they give it a bad name. Now I realize, those are EXACTLY the people I want to come to club! I'm really just trying this year to love on everyone, my friends, my "enemies," people with bad reputations, and people I don't even know! And so far, I must say, I think it's working pretty well. I just want to show love to everyone, because they deserve it. I want to show His love throughout my daily life because "actions speak louder than words," as my mother always says. Just like it says in Romans 12:1 (sorry, I'm not usually one to quote the bible...actually it's one of my pet peeves). This year I'm just really trying to build new relationships with new people, and just show love to everyone.
