open up my eyes

This weekend i went to carolina point. to say it was one of the best weekends of my life would be a cheesy young life statement. but it would also be true. it was great. i got to meet a bunch of new people from all over. but we're all carolina students. we're all training to be young life leaders. it was a great weekend of fellowship. unlike normal fall weekends, we did a lot more worship. and we were actually taught real lessons that will help us lead. it was so great. it made me certain that i chose the right school. in this time that i've been away, it's only been like 2 months, but i have learned SO much. i'm growing so much. i've had to confront so many things, and work through them. i'm still working, but it's amazing.

I used to have to fake being strong, but now i'm starting to really be strong. College has been good for me.
