running to stand still

yeah i just changed the name of this blog. i was naming this post and then i decided it would be a good name for my whole blog. i can do whatever i want. it's a good song too, listen to it. 

anyways, i can't believe that these 4 pictures were taken a whole year ago. senior picnic and senior prom. two of the best days of my life, and the most memorable. i won't elaborate on this much, as it would be redundant from last year. i just want to say that i hope i never forget those days. or those friends.

now, what i really wanted to talk about was how fast my freshman year has flown. today was my last day of classes. what? it blows my mind. i feel like every moment from fall 2010 is so vividly clear in my mind and it feels like yesterday. thats almost two years of moments. i hope i remember them all as well as i do now forever. but i just want everything to stop, really. i wish i had some magical remote that i could pause time. it just keeps flying so fast and i just want it to STAND STILL. i am afraid i will miss something.

but i can't wait to come home for summer and spend time with those who mean so much to me. i know where the Lord is calling me to be this summer and i can't wait to be there and see the fruits of it all. i just wish time would slow down a bit! (except not this week because it's finals)
