Tonight was surprisingly really fun.
I had Capernaum tonight, and i'm not gonna lie, i wasn't feeling it. i've just been so drained lately, i kinda wanted a break. but i'd feel bad if i skipped, so i went, reluctantly. my car's taken away so kate came and picked me up. i've missed hanging out with her one-on-one. we went to el rodeo (yummm) and just hung out and talked before capernaum. it was great. we really have the same mindset in life. i love her. after dinner we went to capernaum, it was actually really fun tonight. i can't help but smile when i'm around those kids. it's amazing how i feel the spirit moving in that room. everyone's just so cheery and happy, without a care in the world.
after capernaum we went and caught the second half of the boys soccer game. we'd been there like half an hour and it started POURING. it was actually pretty awesome. we all tried to wait it out for a while, but soon it was literally raining buckets, so we ran to kate's car and left. we.were.drenched. but it was a really fun night, even though i had low expectations for it. it was great to spend some quality time with one of my best friends.
