all i need is you

today was the perfect day in Roanoke. i woke up early to go hiking with some great friends, some old friends, some new friends. it was wonderful. the mountains are beautiful. then we went up on the mountain at kasey's house. we just sat around a fire and talked. it feels like i never left, and i'm still part of the group. perhaps even more than when i left. then we went off-roading. of course. it wouldn't be a proper day spent with kasey without off-roading. kasey was driving and most of us were in the back of his truck, just talking. i was with Charles and a lot of his work crew friends that i'd never met. they were so cool. we all got to know each other really fast because we all love the Lord and could just talk about that for hours. then i got up front with kasey and had some good one on one time with him. it was just such a great day. literally the perfect day in roanoke. i'm so blessed.
